Visit Colly Brook Christmas Tree Farm this festive season for our very first year of welcoming visitors to the plantation near Ludlow, Shropshire. We grow fresh Nordmann fir Christmas trees with excellent needle retention, friendly help on hand, and an easy, enjoyable experience for families, friends, and well-behaved dogs on leads.
Wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear—wellies are ideal as the ground can be uneven or muddy. Please keep dogs on leads and be mindful of other visitors. Children must be supervised at all times in the plantation for safety.
We want your trip to be fun, safe, and memorable. Here are a few tips:

On arrival, check our noticeboard for prices and colour-coded sizes. Wander through the plantation to choose your perfect tree; when you’re ready, get the attention of our cutting team and we’ll cut and net it for you. You’ll receive a tag to pay and then reclaim your tree once netted. We accept most debit and credit cards as well as cash.
We’re open Thursday to Sunday, 9am–5pm throughout the festive season. You’ll find us in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, just outside Ludlow—perfect for making a day of it with a winter walk.
Parking is available on site. Paths are natural farm tracks and may be uneven in places. If you have specific access needs, please contact us before you travel and we’ll do our best to help.

Remove the netting once home

Stand it in water and leave it outside or in a cool place for 24 hours

Bring indoors, away from heat sources

Keep topped up with water daily
Remove the netting, stand your tree in water, and leave it outside or in a cool place for at least 24 hours before bringing it indoors. Keep it away from radiators and heat sources, and check the water level daily—fresh trees can drink more than you think. If you have any issues, get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
